Rule of thumbs:
1) Never talk to anyone in your current company about your potential position (except friends you trust);
2) Try to find refs from your previous position (This means that you have to have a good relationship with your current company because some day they will become "previous".) Of course if you are absolutely positive, you might ask current supervisor as your ref.(At your own risk.:rolleyes
3) Don't be too serious with Recuiter from agency, but it's a good sign if the recruiter is a employee/staff of the direct hiring company.
Most of all, experience is most important and a sound preparation might knock at the door for the position.
Good luck!
Really nice comments, I appreciate! I read other posts of urs as well, you sound experienced & professional. |
