Saying F word before her kid (check the first message, two kids were not around), and shouting like a bitch (how do you know? what u r saying is like son of bitch)before public (don't mean to offend LZ, but it is simply the truth) was the right thing to do? I bet you do't have any kid, or you are a kid yourself. (how old are you? given situation, LZ had right to fight back, if somebody attcked you, you would call 911, right?)

That was not oral fight (why not? are u a judge?). That's a man insulting a woman. As long as you did not say anything dirty back. The man could be charged with imporper conduct or insulting. At the worst case, the result can be fine, social work, even jail time. Especially, when you are minority and a woman!(are u a kid?
or just a just newly-graduated neud?)
We have 911 for a reason, we pay tax to support it for a reason. The reason is simple: we are going to use it. (do you think you are abusing the system? in this case, police will solve the problem?)

What LZ did was totally wrong. The only thing good to do was to call 911. It is free anyway.(how can i say about you? one word:naive)

Son, learn some law. (give me a break,  grandson)

支持楼主。虽说中国女人有时是有点泼，可是如果中国男人能硬起来，她们就不用这样了！

你指的是当时在场的中国男人吧？？我相信那几位男同胞也在关注着这里的动态，前面有人尊敬地称呼你们＂伟男＂，这种称呼是一语中地，还是冤枉了你们？？


能不能勇敢地站出来，以旁观者的角度谈谈当时的情况及自己当时和现在的想法？？（别怕，这里是安全的，都是自己人！！！ ）

支持楼主!首先是中国人的尊严，其次是做人的尊严，我们都不可以放弃。

中国人就是因为总忍气吞声，所以几个世纪以来都要被欺负。

现在连加拿大政府都为人头税向华人道歉，我们更不应该自视低贱!

做人要自尊自重，对别人有爱心，但同时也不能让别人欺负。


对袖手旁观的同胞我很无奈。如果是我们自己错了，那只能向着理；但如果是对方错了，为什么不能帮自己的姐妹一把？

尽管我们是加拿大移民，明天可能会是公民，可能跟西人也会是一个国家，但即使如此，一个国家的公民还有兄弟姐妹和外人之分呢。

今天别人有困难你不去帮助别人，明天你有困难别人也不会帮你。

对楼主维护自己的尊严表示肯定。

另外，想提醒楼主的是，加拿大是个讲法制的地方，尽管我不知道详细的法规，但出这种事后，可以考虑拨打911报警，问警察如何处理。

At the worst case, the result can be fine, social work, even jail time (are a newly-graduated neurd? can you go to data base to check similar case, ok?). Especially, when you are minority and a woman!

We have 911 for a reason, we pay tax to support it for a reason. The reason is simple: we are going to use it. (Police will solve the problem? if there is physical contact, police will intervene, otherwise, police will monitor the situation. Please don't abuse the system.)

If you were LZ, how do you know the "oral fight" would not go worst and become a physical fight? Do you believe you can beat the man or you think he is such a nice gentleman and wouldn't do that? How can you guarrentee your safety and especailly that of your son's? You think LZ did well as a mother?(If Lz was afraid, she would not fight back. We live in a normal society, we know game rule. You can see many oral fights, but not many physical fights, do u understand? you have millions of reasons to worry about your safety, it is your business. most of people are not. You have good intention to show civilized behaviour to akid, but you don't  know how.

"Justice is in your hand." If I were in that situation, I don't care the stupif justice. I only care about three things:
1. I am a victom. (why r u a victim?)
2. My security is important.
3. In this country, I don't perform law.(i don't understand, what do you abide by?)

(If you were in that siuation, you had no problem, you would to that quebecois, saying gently,"i m sorry, i don't know you are here.....)


Seriously, learn some law.(if i learn, i will digest law well)

To : hatley 朋友，我觉得你说错了~ 我们一再所强调的素质和你所说的学历，是两码事！有的人学历再高，也不代表素质就一定高，相反，学历不高，并不代表素质就一定不高。。。所以根据学历来看一个人的素质是不对的~~ 有句话，不知道你听说过没有？叫做：有才有德，是合格品。 无才有德，是半成品。有才无德，是危险品。无才无德，是废品！ 你可以好好的研究一下，看看我说的有没有道理~~~

我仔细的阅读了你所叙述的经过，根据我的看法，我觉得有必要问清楚：首先，第一种可能：那个外国人是否已经先在你后来跑过去的你认为没有人钓鱼的地方开始钓了？或者当你去这块地方的时候，这个老外是否正在做换鱼饵或者是绑鱼钩之类的事情？如果是这样，按照是我们平常钓鱼的潜在规矩来说，你就是占用了他的位子。。。那么你所做过的事，就显得有些牵强。。。然而，他对你进行人身侮辱，始终是不对的，你提醒他保持嘴巴干净，也是合乎人情的！但是要说道理，你始终会占劣势。。。但是你后来挪开了位置，他再来找你的茬，那你就有道理了，你可以用你的方式来保护你自己！

但是话说回来，第二种可能：如果不是像我说的那样，这个老外并没有在做这些有关钓鱼事情，而跑过来对你说你占用了他的地方，要你滚的话，你就有权力作任何法律允许的事情来维护你的尊严，包括自卫！这一点我绝对支持，如果我要是在现场，我一定会毫不犹豫的挺身而出，来帮助你维护你的尊严，同时，这也是维护我们中国人的尊严！他要是敢动手，我就帮你把他，还有他的媳妇儿一起扔到河里去！


总而言之，这边的老外，有部分素质确实极其的差！所以，当他们和你耍横儿，又讲不清道理的时候，最好的选择，就是反击！他们骂，你就跟着骂，要是他们吃了熊心豹子胆敢动手，就先抽他丫的，在报警！别让这群小王八蛋把中国人看扁了！ 明白了么？


呼吁一声： 中国的兄弟们，不要再让女人叫咱们“伟男” ！多丢人啊！ 该飙的时候还是要干的！别被人看扁了！对不对？

“中国人的整体素质还是比较差的。 ，您指在加拿大的中国人吧？请问您是怎样得出的结论？同胞在这里大多数人应该由本科以上学历吧，大多数人勤勤恳恳工作养家度日吧，大多数人知书达理吧，至少我见的大多数人是这样。不是说中国人整体素质一定怎样怎样，问题是我不知道你有什么依据得出那样的结论。如果素质能平均，拿中国人的平均值和所有居住在加拿大的人平均值比吗？我不确定哪个高，这点我承认。但当地人也不完美，问题也不少。东西方文化有差异，一个当地人跟你说thanks 或sorry，excuse me 并不能代表他素质一定就高了。当地人中游手好闲吃救济的，小偷小摸的，诈骗的,吸毒酗酒的，抢劫的，杀人的。。。干这类事的有多少中国人呢？还整个黄种人问题，更不懂了，韩国人、日本人。。。你了解他们在加拿大的情况？本人愚钝，实在不懂。

看了这么多回贴，真想骂人，什么第一点，什么第二点，
在给人欺负的时候，还能替别人(对手)考虑。。。。。
说这些话的人，是最无用的，
都是说得多，说得好听，到时给人欺负，还会替别人考虑，替别人说话
难道这就是中国人吗？

而且，现在只是让你(们)表明态度，(是战略层面的事情)
连表明态度也这样懦弱，可想而之，
中国人啊。。。

这或许就是中国文化，教育的懦弱的一面
