we have the exactly same stituation as yours. we got the 10-year visa y'dy which is really out of our expectation.

i am the full-time student here, LG in BJ. Everybody was talking it's very small possibility to get the visa while you both bind togeter to apply.

You are easy to get 10years visa. they would pay more attention on your LG's background. our stituation is:

LG is working in BJ. He is the shareholder of a small-size company. we presented the copy of the certificate; in addition, we have the invitation letters from south America countries to LG for biz trip. It's just by chance, we get to know that we must get state's visa 1st if we want to go to South America. we explained this point to consulate.

You'd better say that LG stays half time in montreal, half time in China, otherwise, they will request your LG to apply for it in China.

The key point is that you convince the visa officer that you won't stay in States.

the key is that I'm afraid my LG can just be looked as shuttle flight. Anyway we will try again.
