hwo long do i have to wait to take the road test?!

I heard that after u obtain the learner driver licence, u have to wait for a whole year to take the road test, if u have the certificate from a driver school, you still have to wait for 8 month, that's tooooooooo long!!

is that ture??

If you have a driver's license in China, you do not have to wait for 8 month any more.
