your assumption is correct, the reasoning behind this is simply because you can't suck and blow at the same time, given the virtual of the fact you already got the Spousal Credit.
no, for roomates, they can not claim living alone credit. unless that person who they live with is their child or children who under 18 or over 18 who's persuing a post secondary degree, being full time stduent. |
