怎样or在哪里测试过敏? - I saw a regular doctor in Montreal, then got referral to do test in hospital. Then the 'specialist' told me I was only allergic to dust, may be a tiny bit to cat hair (this is associated to my allergy to dust).
I believe the Canadian doctor may have told me there's no cure, except needle/ injection into spine for de-sensitizing. That's about 30 years ago, things may change now. My cough stopped after few years, due to 'better air' in Canada.
Back then I used to cough for months when I was in school, it scared my roommate. But the stupid local doctors didn't know what to do except x-ray my lungs. Every year they x-ray me the 2nd time after coughing non-stop for more than a month, but never find any TB that everyone suspected (that's how bad it was).
There are medications to stop it right away, but I don't know how u get that. I used to be a brigade of St. John's Ambulance when I was much younger, we had a Chinese Australian team doctor. Once he saw me cough, gave me prescription, then coughing stopped. On one of my visits to South East Asia, my cough re-started, somehow I managed to find him quickly, then took the pile of pills+liquids he gave me, then my cough stop right away again. I don't have much problem right now, except I cannot go out when it's too windy (~blow up dust, not sure), I would cough for few weeks afterwards.
