Here's the excellent English learning resources that I personally recommend at http://bit.ly/a8wSSG :
Superb dictionaries:
Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary
Merriam-Webster Dictionary
(See this post for further explanation.)
Really profound stuff:
The New York Times
The Economist
(Regarding the Canadian media, the Globe and Mail is allegedly the best newspaper in English. However, sadly it's way way behind the two media listed above, in terms of profundity. But that's only my personal take.)
Easy or rudimentary stuff, some of which is pedestrian:
BBC Learning English
Feedbooks (I used to peruse quite a few free e-books downloaded from Feedbooks.com on my smart phone, which could be a good option while I was in the loo. But I've discovered that many, if not the majority, of the free "Original Books" are graceless or even outrageously shoddy.)
All right. Way to go, English learners! Good luck and enjoy on.
