Doncherry, my power window(driver side) was stucked at half position, can't go back to the top.  When i press the button, it can move up or down a little, then no more.  I brought my car(civic) to a local garage to check today, they said sth wrong with the cable attched to the motor, but, it can't be changed seperately.  I have to buy the whole regulator with motor, 'coz it always goes together, they don't have part in store, and from dealer's quotation is 250.

but, when i called some parts store, or check on line with us parts store(autozone/autoadvancedparts)they sell either window lift motor(120) or regulator(100), could u kindly tell me which part exeactly i should change?

Not sure what regulator it is.  Sounds you have mechanical problem not
electrical problem. But the simplest way for you is open the
yellow page, find the scrap, call them about the parts. If you are lucky,
you can find one at much lower price. And find a small garage to install
for you.  If you have trouble to tell them parts name over telephone, you
can spend some time to driving there and show them. For old cars, the
used door costs about $50~$100, the parts you are looking for should
be less expensive if your car is quite old.

Tks, Don, I found a rebuilt set on E-bay, 80 bucks, will order and change the whole thing, it's a 2000 civic.  BTW, is it easy to DIY?

估计不是电瓶的问题了，因为朋友帮我也boost不起来，现象与用我自己的电瓶一样，只听见“咔咔、咔咔....”的声音。昨天上午还好好的，今天上午11点就出这事，心焦啊。顺便问一下，如果明天找caa，同时要他们boost和tow，会按两次服务算吗？谢谢！
