you can see it in the information letter of US visa appointment. I copy from there.
6. FEES. Application Fee. Under the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, visas are a “user-pays” government service. That is, the cost of providing the service should be borne by those individuals actually using that service. Each pplication fora non-immigrant visa requires an application fee of $131 U.S. dollars, and is non-refundable whether the visa is issued or isrefused. Application fees are payable by deposit to any branch of Scotia Bank (http://www.scotiabank.com) in advance of the appointment, or in cash U.S. dollars (exact amount) at the time of the appointment. If you pay via Scotia Bank, download the three-copy deposit slip (http://www.amcits.com/deposit.pdf ) and bring it with your fees to the Bank. The Bank will keep one copy, and stamp the two other copies for you to bring to the interview. For those using cash, U.S. currency can be obtained near the Consulate at the Caisse Populaire (Rue des Jardins) or the Bureau d’Echange at the north end of the Terrace Dufferin. |
