本人即将带小孩登陆蒙城，请问魁省的儿童福利政策，牛奶金大概每月多少?本人已被蒙城一所大学录取，听说政府有助学金，大概有多少? 对魁省的福利政策不是很了解，想知道大概一个月的生活费需要多少?需要带多少钱过来才够生活?希望得到知情人的指导。

Stipend for kid: at most $191.25+$52.08 per month, but first year you might not get it.

Stipend for you (bursary): $5xx.xx per month.

如果你是移民，政府给单身母亲和孩子的钱绝对让你够吃够住。孩子牛奶金跟孩子年龄，家庭收入有关。你能拿到的贷款和奖学金也和你的家庭收入，人口构成，个人学历相关。无论如何，政府的计算会让你交了学费后还够吃够住，对单亲家庭尤其照顾。至于带来的钱，当然是越多越好，存款数量并不影响你该得的钱。如果你钱足够多，买下住房还可以节省租房的钱。

谢谢shai2004&cathrine两位热心人的回答。我的小孩现在3岁，我被蒙大的本科录取。按照shai2004所讲，我的小孩第一年领不到牛奶金，那么助学金需要等多久才能拿到呢? 象我这样的情况，政府一个月总共会有多少补贴?生活费一个月又该要多少?其实我个人没很多存款，算下来如果不够用就要向亲戚朋友借些钱带过来，也不知道要带多少钱才够。

你单身一个人,这里有没有朋友? 你上学,孩子不能一人留家里,你咋办?

小孩的牛奶金很快就能领到，没听说等到第二年。学生贷款上学后两三个月肯定能领到。关键是你的小孩子太小，一定要找到政府补贴的daycare后，你才可能上学，除非有认识的朋友可以帮你。你最好能找到另外一个single Mother或者有孩子的家庭share住房，那样万一有事时还有人能帮你带带孩子。

As far as I know, you need to stay here for 3 months before you can get bursary from government. Therefore, better to get here before the end of May if you want to enroll in September to study. Your child might need to be in daycare ($7 a day, actually quite cheap, but not easy to find a suitable one, you have to line up).

Catherine's reply might be more accurate as I am not an immigration. I am working under Work Permit at Montreal now. As you are a 'single mom', therefore, I am trying to help you. My answer is truely based on what I heard. I am deeply impressed by the difficulties the new immigration faces. But Canada is a place you needn't worry about living (a welfare society), but also no way to be rich due to its high tax (About 30% of my salary go to tax now).

Hi, I am a single mom also.  You can get child benefit about one month after you applied.  But loan and bursary need to wait for 3 months (if you haven't live in other province more than 3 months).
