但是我的软件就没算出来,我是2008年到的,收入肯定是低收入,但也超过3600$,但软件就没有显示我的WITB,因为软件认为你没全年呆在加拿大,所以没资格,但政府网站http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/wtb/fq_qlfyng-eng.html写明了你有配偶或小孩,还是有资格领取,文字如下,供大家参考:
2. Are you eligible for the WITB?

You are eligible for the WITB in 2008 if:

• You are 19 years of age or older on December 31, 2008; and
  
• You are a resident of Canada for income tax purposes throughout 2008.
  

Exception
If you are under 19 years of age, you may still be eligible for the WITB, if you have a spouse or common-law partner or an eligible dependant on December 31, 2008.

You are not eligible for the WITB in 2008 if:

• You do not have an eligible dependant and are enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for more than 13 weeks in 2008;
  
• You are confined to a prison or similar institution for a period of 90 days or more in 2008; or
  
• You do not have to pay tax in Canada because you are an officer or servant of another country, such as a diplomat, or a family member or employee of such person.
  

Example
Jennie is 23 years old and has a 3-year-old daughter. She attended university full-time in 2008. Even though she was enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for more than 13 weeks in 2008, she is still eligible for WITB since she has an eligible dependant.

您的意思是说,如果08年的新移民,如果不是08年1月1日登陆的,就不可能有WITB.我都搞糊涂了,还请高人给指点指点!多谢!

去年在中文报上找了一个陈姓的AGENT报2007年的税，不但很多地方报错了，还忘记帮我申请working income tax benefit.当时一直没有发现，直到昨天找了一位专业会计师吴女士才知道政府从07年就开始有这个东东。奉劝大家一定不要贪图便宜找不懂税法只会填表的AGENT。多花点钱，找专业人士最大限度的争取政府的退税。
