About the speaker: Zhang received his doctorate in accounting from the University of California, Irvine; his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Leuven, Belgium; and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Shanghai International Studies University, China. His teaching and research interests include financial accounting, auditing, bond credit rating, earning management, and financial distress. He was an American Accounting Association Doctoral Consortium Fellow in 2005 and a Paul Merage School of Business Fellow at the University of California, Irvine, from 2000 to 2004. Zhang is a member of the American Accounting Association and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. His audit expertise is in the sectors of financial service, manufacturing and energy. |
