比赛第一天，中国小姑娘的蒙古舞直接进入决赛，今年有看头了。

It seems that she is eliminated in the Toronto round.
I recognize a few people who are already experienced dance teachers in their own styles, but still get cut in later rounds.

It is a tough competition.
One has to be able to adapt to different dance styles
and pick up new choreography in a couple of hours.
It is very difficult.

I hope she can return better prepared next year.

The Chinese girl, Vicky Luo, was cut after the ballroom round.
Another Chinese girl, Melanie Mah from Richmond Hill Ontario, makes it to the group of 40.
The top 20 will be announced in the next episode on CTV this Sunday night.
