how about today?

Today I took bus to go back home, at 6:00pm.

No jam in either direction, cars were moving at about 50km/hr.
(I was standing by the bus driver and saw the reading of the speedometer (70km/hr).

我在brossard住两年了,在downtown上班(9:00am-5:00pm),
每天早8:30出发,从来没迟到过.我记得只有一次下大雪,用了1个小时.

有些不可思议。
我现在上班时间调整到8点，所以我每天7：30-8：00过桥（我们上班时可以迟到的，当然overtime也没钱），还是经常看见壮观的队伍，比如今天从Taschereau(不知道写的对不对）等着上桥的车堵了3个block(到yellow店那块)，据我的经验，这种情况下上桥都要半个到一个小时，而且上桥之后走的也很慢，不能想象这种情况下怎样能够在20分钟到downtown.
虽然这种阵势的堵车不是每天都有，但是每月有个3－5次很正常的，就像每月有个3－5次不堵车一样，总的来说上桥前大都要堵一会的，感觉2年内迟到一次真的很不可思议，因为我在南岸上班4年多了，和我反方向堵车的阵势我见多了。

Are you sure?it took me 40minutes just by passing bridge,if there is no traffic it only take me 3-5minutes(I pass the bridge from 4:15-4:55today).
and it was worse for the people from montreal to southshore,because I could see cars always stop there.

有人说二十分钟到downtown，我觉着是有点难，估计要走也大约是在9点左右了，我只试过一次，不是周五，二十二分钟到唐人街。周一周五什么时候走也不会过三十分钟。
但您说车堵到yellow要30到60分钟我想也是猜的，我每天7：30上班，35到40分钟送孩子到FACE小学，有的时候就走那里，队是长了点但最多十五分钟也就上桥了，一旦上桥时速绝不会低于50.

it took u 40mins because u only got two lanes and the traffic light was waitting for u at montreal side since 3:00pm.

i left work at 5:00pm from downtown montreal, and got home at 5:42, so i don't think

Well it was this Monday morning at ~9:09AM. I used my watch to do the timing, because I read this thread before and wanted to garther some data.

I started the stop watch somewhere near Panama.  

Followed the traffice and drove to somewhre near Decarie / Namur, handed over the car to my wife, she went on driving. I then walked for about 4 minutes. I stopped the stop watch, the reading was 23 minutes.

I passed the bridge by bus (bus 90) this evening at around 6:00pm. No jam.

Based on what I've seen so far (2 years in South Shore), jam always happens when the worker are setting up the traffic cones for bus lanes, and when they are removing the cones. So, 5:00pm and 7:00pm are bad time from MTL to south shore / from south shore to MTL.

好啊好啊，逢年过节有空串个门吧。中国人不少啊，C区， C是Chinese的C啊

现在任何时候都可在家中监视到加拿大各大城市的实时交通状况，只要打开电脑连到google地图即可，过香槟桥从15n进入比从10w快多了，这也是为啥西人会选择la praire而不去选择c区的理由之一。
