加勒比岛国海地当地时间2010年1月12日16时53分发生里氏7.0级以上的地震，全国大部分地区受灾情况严重，海地平民的死亡情况很严重可能有几十万人遇难。此次地震中遇难者有联合国驻海地维和人员，其中包括8名中国维和人员遇难。地震发生后，世界各国纷纷伸出援手，向海地提供人道主义援助。
      海地这个西半球最贫穷的国家遭受到了自1770年以来最严重的大地震。包括总统府和联合国维和部队驻地在内的数百栋建筑坍塌。初步估计，此次大地震将为海地带来多达300万难民。

    生活在地球上的人类，每时每刻都可能遭受自然界灾难的袭击，可人类大多时候表现的是那么无奈，所以希望我们人类更加要互助，更加有爱心，才能减轻灾难给人类带来的痛苦。
      
            让我们为海地的人们祈祷吧！

海地让人叹气。。。今次地震，可以说是“五分天灾，五分人祸”。。。。

如果说地动山摇、家园尽毁是一种物质的灭亡，那么那些幸存的海地人的行为，则代表着一种精神的灭亡。。。。

许多劫后受困N小时才获救生还的人，还没定下神来，就很凶猛地参与抢劫物资、粮食的暴行中，被联合国维和部队无奈地击毙。。。救这些人出来，似乎毫无意义。。。。

抢劫、暴力、袭击，每一分钟都发生，维和部队都麻木了，这里没有秩序、没有尊严、没有希望。。。。

唉，生的没有意义，死的也没有意义，简直现代罗生门，人间地狱。。。。

Haiti's Quake Shifts Clinic's Focus From AIDS to Aid


The AIDS clinic called GHESKIO in downtown Port-au-Prince has developed a reputation over the past 25 years as a place that, improbably, provides thousands of Haitians with free care and conducts world-class clinical research. Led by Jean "Bill" Pape, GHESKIO (the Haitian Group for the Study of Kaposi's Sarcoma and Opportunistic Infections) has continued to function since the 12 January earthquake. The clinic has now become one of the few places where locals can receive emergency care in that part of the devastated city and has converted itself into a hospital with a surgical unit and a makeshift outdoor home for thousands of refugees.
