A Dream © 梦想
It was a balmy summer. I saw a beautiful girl...we passed by each other's shoulders silently... a kind of traditional Chinese custom still engraved in me. After many years in this country, I found I am still a Chinese - As a matter of fact, I am more Chinese than ever - I passionately introduce some of the greatest Chinese custom to my Caucasian friends, who quite enjoy my "presentations", usually in a humorous way, whenever situation arises.
春夏秋冬, life goes on as the rhyme of the season's changeover.
One day in the winter when everything was grey and dull, I suddently found my picture so vividly colorful: my heart pondered -- with wonder and a closer look, I have found your youth, smiles and most of all, cheers for life:
From the white sailboat, my gentle hand strokes into the same column of your silky hair - flowing into the blue sky, into the cotton-white clouds; we land on the reddish sandy beach... we hold hand-in-hand, over the tender tides, strolling into the horizon of glowing sunset... I gazed into your sparkling eyes: seeing you and me - cuddling in front of untamed camp fire, that coats us with warmth and kindliness.. I feel your heart is pounding and so is mine, your lips are trembling and so are mine- we melt into each other's souls and minds.. in a rouge camping tent on the beach.

We rise to the scent of fresh buds and melody of early birds the next morning - we carry on our journey, of love and life: you are my best co-pilot and co-navigator: Together, we will arrive where we both want to be...
This is no longer a dream because I have found you. |
