I haven't read your post in detail yet, don't have much time now, but believe u need:

2 R0 {, ]- J) f" n2 G( U- insulate your cold water pipe(s) (hardware stores sell them, sty-ro-foam), or
, |& n- u3 s( h }6 O* Y2 a- heating "wire" to wrap your cold water pipe(s). (The ELECTRIC orange big "wire" will heat up AUTOMATICALLY when temparature drops to certain degree)/ [2 e- [6 U3 P, i r% O

Check your water pipes, where it could be cold, use 1 of the above. Go to any hardware store (Canadian Tire/Reno/Home Depot/etc), they will show u. * n! K$ P+ W- v

I've never seen it myself, heard of people wrapping cold and hot water pipes together to "share heat", if that is your case, u need to separate them and your cold water pipe definitely need heating.- Z s3 ?3 |& S$ X5 P: G
