I haven't read your post in detail yet, don't have much time now, but believe u need:

- heating "wire" to wrap your cold water pipe(s). (The ELECTRIC orange big "wire" will heat up AUTOMATICALLY when temparature drops to certain degree)! ^ M. h8 t% s3 g! |

Check your water pipes, where it could be cold, use 1 of the above. Go to any hardware store (Canadian Tire/Reno/Home Depot/etc), they will show u. 8 ?4 B8 l. x3 p

I've never seen it myself, heard of people wrapping cold and hot water pipes together to "share heat", if that is your case, u need to separate them and your cold water pipe definitely need heating.
