一般canadian tire的保安抓住shoplifting, 会根据情况决定是否叫警察,来了警察才有可能 有 案底。 你的情况就3毛钱的价值,实在不算什么。。

I worked in loss prevention in a number of places. The fine is the restitution payment made payable to the store. In every case that we had, we had the option of whether to get the police involved or not (depends on a lot of factors - age, dollar amount, demeanor, etc). At the minimum, they had to pay for the item they stole and the civil restitution. It`s not optional. From your post, I`m guessing that the police weren`t involved and you just has to pay the fine to the store. Pay the ****ing thing and avoid the criminal charges. A warrant can be issued if you don`t. It`s a hell of a lot better and you usually have a pretty big window to pay it (the three stores I worked at had a policy that it had to START being paid within 6 months). |
