大家好！
我想学护理，目前只知道Mcgill有这个专业，但不知要准备什么材料、要怎样的条件？Montreal还有其它的地方可学护理吗？此外，对于不太年轻的女性（为人母，为人妻），想通过学这个专业过后半辈（大半）的生活，现实吗？

我在一个college上看到有如下入学条件：
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or equivalent
Physical Science 436
Chemistry 534 (by Fall 2004)
Must be eligible to take College English 603-101

这些条件如何达到？国内的成绩（大学？中学？）有用吗？ 我要怎样做？真急人！

I do not know if you are going to get a Master or Bachelor degree.
My wife is going to study for Master degree at McGill Nursing school.

As I know, first you must get an authorization from OIIQ in order
to study Nursing in Quebec. This will cost you $400 to apply.

     I haven't learnt anything about nursing. Since we decide to emigrate,I must choose a new speciality and  go back to university. I have visited the web site of Mcgill,and I have  several questions:
  1.  what is the "license from the QIIQ" ? what is  the content of the license?
   2.  There are several types of nursing  program: Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Science(Nursing)/Integrated B.N/master  of Science.......(higher and higher).  which one fit me?    Should I apply for undergraduate addmission?
  3. In their Web page, Dawson college is mentioned. Should I study in Dawson before go to Mcgill?  I am a new comer.

  Wish someboby can give me some imformation .

1. "License from OIIQ" is an authorization from OIIQ for those who
    want to study Nursing in Quebec. You can visit the website but
    unfortunately it is only in French: http://www.oiiq.org

2. As far as I know, to apply for a Master degree, you must have
    already got a Bachelor degree in Nursing.

3. I really do not know if the Bachelor program in McGill is better
    than that of Dawson College.

4. Why not send emails to the two contact persons in McGill Nursing
    school? The graduate program coordiantor "Anna" is very nice.
    When I was helping my wife apply for the Master admission, she
    was so kind to give the detailed reply every time. She even told
    us about how to apply for the OIIQ license. So I think the best
    way is to write e-mails to them, and tell them about your current
    background, and then ask for their advice. Good luck!

During these days,I am very disappointed . Some one told me a nurse must  learn English and French.in QC, I think your wife must  can use these two language very well.

I work in hospital now, and it is my pleasure to answer you about these issues.

If you have courses ( chemistries including orginal chemistry, biology, all of these are university level, not high school)

Besides, You got your tofel > 600, especially you have medecine or bachelor of nursing background, go to mcgill. It takes about 3 and a half years to finish it.

You know, most of provinces in canada, only bachelor is allowed to take test fro registered nurse. So if you are eiligible to apply university program, do not waste your time since college +university will take at least 5 years to get a bachelor.

If you are a nurse and it is bachelor degree, leave montreal and go to tronto, direcly go to test on the basis of tofel >570 (it is a piece of cake for chinese, I think)

If you have no background, wow! It takes you at least 5 years maybe 6 years to get a bachelor. Pay attention! The salary for a bachelor of nursing is 23.4 in toronto, at montreal, maybe lower.

I asked my colleage, she is chair of nursing and bachelor degree, have worked for 25 years, her salary is 35 per hour.
