华人服务中心 Play Group for New Families

Are you a new immigrant who has a child less than 5 years old ?
Are you unlucky enough not to have daycare space ?
Have you been unable to bring your parents from China to help you take care of your child ?
Are you alone in Canada ?
Are you taking care of your new-born or very small child alone, day and night ?

Although we cannot offer you a daycare, CFSGM(华人服务中心) and the Chinese Catholic Mission will start a service to help new immigrant parents come out of their isolation.  Once a week, with the help of volunteers, CFSGM and the Chinese Catholic Mission would like to offer you an opportunity to meet other parents like yourself, who are taking care of their young children all alone, to talk, to exchange information, and hopefully, to offer each other mutual support.  Our volunteers will play with your children while you have a chance to relax, to meet other new parents, and chat.

Our programme will begin on Friday February 13, from 2-4pm at the Chinese Catholic Mission, located at 979 Coté.

Spaces are limited so please call to reserve your spot :861-5244 ext 228.

Please note this is NOT a babysitting service !
