最痛苦事情 不是找不到工作。

而是有了offer，却不能去工作。

我是拿着1对1的工作签证，不是open-work permit

我来了之后原来的公司已经不存在，于是我接到了其他公司的一个offer ，因为换工作需要重新申请工签。我的新雇主给我申请LMO和CAQ ， 我需要等到结果之后再去申请新的工签，要等差不多2个月的时间吧。

也就是说 如果都顺利的话， 2个月之后我可以工作。

今天我又收到另外一个公司的offer，说有一个短期项目，一个半月的合同，我看时间上和第一个offer不冲突，可是如果我还是申请LMO 和 新的工签，我不可能在这么短时间拿到工签，甚至得等到合同结束也未必拿到工签。

有没有什么办法呢？ 真的很想去工作啊。

刚才打电话咨询了移民局

1 如果我是自雇，我可以不需要LMO和CAQ ， 直接申请work-permit

2 如果我工作30天以下，是不需要CAQ ，可以直接申请工签。

3，我如果以后经常换工作，是不是可以申请open work permit ？ （我正在办移民，但是在香港办的）

请问好心人， 我的理解有没有错呢 ？

下面是CIC的官员给我的信。

[SIZE=-1]Labour Market Opinion Exemption – Entrepreneur and Self-Employed Person
Generally, if you want to apply for a Work Permit,  you need a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from Human Resources and Skills  Development Canada and a job offer letter from your future employer.

As an exception, you can apply for a work permit in Canada without a LMO if you:

• are an entrepreneur or self-employed person; and
  
• intend to operate a business in  Canada that would create or maintain significant social, cultural or  economic benefits or work opportunities for Canadian citizens or  permanent residents of Canada.
  

     

               
     

                                    

     
Certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) not required
In most cases, you need a Certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) to work in the province of Quebec. However, you do not need a CAQ if:  

• *you do not need a Labour Market Opinion from Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC);
  
• you do not need a work permit;
     
  
• you are working for a period of 30 days or less, regardless of the National Occupation Classification (NOC) category; and/or
     
  
• you are applying for an open  work permit (e.g. persons whose permanent residence application is being  processed inside Canada and has been approved in principle** ).
