Kultur Klubs ESL: Live & Learn Overview 2012 (May-Sept)
INTRODUCTION
Kultur Klubs Live & Learn ESL program is designed to offer an intensive experiential education opportunity. Learners are encouraged to participate, to embrace new environments, customs and people, and enhance their self-confidence.
Learning ESL in an immersed environment with an experienced native Canadian English speaking teacher truly makes a difference.

Sea side resort: fishing, tourism, heritage, parks, marine life (whales, sea birds, dolphins, seals…)museums, golf course, lighthouses, festivals, galleries, recreations, tours, ferry, heritage libraries

FEES
1 WEEK $1400

Refer a Friend Program: Students will receive $100 gratuity when successfully referring another learner.
ALL INCLUSIVE:
Airport transportation arrival and departure: Saint John, NB (Canada) or Bangor Maine (US)
Room: private bedroom, linens, semi-private shower/bath (shared with other students)
Meals: 3 per day, special dinner outings, BBQ, pic-nics, bonfire roasts
Study Tools: assigned downloads, journal/notebook, writing & sketch tools
Activities: whale watching, ferry trip, golf, kayaking, hiking, beach combing, bonfires
Tours: Farmer’s market, lighthouses, museums, galleries, chocolate factory, nature parks
Events: sail regatta, festivals, films, workshops, guests speakers; published authors

Final Project is required of all learners.
Students are required to submit a brief essay. This is not graded; however, it will provide your Facilitator (teacher) with a better understanding of your current English level. In addition, it will assist your teacher to prepare a class designed with each student’s interest.
Answer the following questions in a 5 paragraph essay (300 words maximum)
Please double spaced. Titles are optional.
1. Why you are interested to take ESL classes?
2. Describe yourself (you can be vague or detailed).
3. What are your hobbies or interests – music, art, movies, sports, culture, nature,etc.
4. Are you involved in any groups or organizations: social, political, community ?
5. What is your two most memorable experiences – one good and one bad.
6. Describe your family-parents, grandparents, work, children, friends, colleagues…
7. If you are a student, what is your area of study and why?
8. If you are employed, in what field do you work? Describe.
9. If you could visit any country in the world where would it be and why?
10. End your essay with an idea you would share with a future generations.
