REMINDER (at the request of others):
1. Arrive at the airport three (3) hours prior to departure: a) go to Caribe Sol / Hola Sun counter to get your "tourist card"; b) go to Cubana airline counter for check-in and tell them if you prefer window or aisle seat.
2. Take with you your passport, flight and hotel reservation papers, medical insurance card or certificate if any.
3. Take some Canadian dollars and exchange into Cuban convertible pesos once arrived at the Varadero airport. When you come back, you need to pay 25 pesos per person at the Varadero airport. If you plan to go for one day tour to Havana, you need to pay around 50-80 pesos per person. There are also other excursions available.
4. Bring your sun cream (2 bottles for each person), sun glasses, mosquito repellent, sandals, swimming suits/shorts, clothes for change for 7 days/nights. You may wear casual clothes at the buffet restaurant, but you need to wear semi-casual (no short, no T-shirt, no sandals) at the two "a la carte restaurants".
5. To charge your camera's batteries, you need to have an electrical adapter for travel to Cuba.
6. A couple of good novels or books or magazines you wish to read on the beach?
别忘了带牙刷牙膏,以及预防感冒头痛拉肚子的药,和你经常吃的药. 喜欢游泳的朋友,还可以带游泳镜. |
