Referee must: (a) be either a family member or friend of the Referrer, (b) be a newcomer who has arrived in Canada within the last five (5) years, as shown on their passport and landing paper or permanent resident card, (c) be a new client to RBC Royal Bank, (d) open one of the following RBC banking accounts: RBC VIP Banking®, RBC Signature No Limit Banking®, RBC No Limit Banking®, RBC Day to Day Banking® (e) make a minimum deposit of $100 Canadian into the RBC banking account within 30 days of opening, and (f) be the age of majority in the province in which they reside. Referee will also receive $50 Canadian deposited into their newly opened RBC banking account upon meeting eligibility criteria and completion of the required steps.
