If you want to specialize in Translation, only two univisities for you to choose from in Montreal: English as the target language, you can go to Concordia, while French or Spanish as the tagrget language, you are recommmended to go to UdeM. It is quite different from China. Here, if your mother is French, you normally go to UdeM, or you mother tongue is English, you can go to Concordia, if you are perfectly bilingual, that is, English and French are you mother tongues, you can go to the University of Ottawa, which is regarded as the best translator training institution in Canada and enjoys an international prestige--English, French, and Spnish will do, no matter as the target language or the source. Unless you are a very good language learner, you (the Chinese) can not competit with those native speakers of the languages. |
