写邮件去问，说是在check background。老公专业和航天有关。查了一下网上状态，说We started processing your case on May **, 2007。请问大家有类似情况吗？是不是这个状态根本不make sense？

Don't rely on the information provided on their website. They won't update the information until your background check is done. (If you see "Medical results received", that means you are going to receive the passport request letter very soon). You can send email to them and ask.
