what is spss 10.0 standard for? According my very limited knowledge about sas, the new version is 9.0. please tell me more detail . thanks

Why you want to learn SAS by yourself, The essence of SAS is theory of statistics. If you just know how to program, it means nothing.

By the way, in internet you just can get sas help on line. SAS is very expensive here, about 10000 rmb, it is impossible to obtain it in internet.


Try to buy in china to get unofficial version.

你几乎不可能搜到sas下载，因为我试过。：）这个太 贵，没人会需要下载。
我有sas8.2, 原始5张盘。电话 362 1485
不过前一位朋友说的很对，sas并不是计算机编程，而是统计应用，功底要求不一样。是否需要自己斟酌，而且实际作经济分析的时候有些人更喜欢spss，spss很实用，当然sas比较全面，更有名。

thank you very much, the reason I want to learn sas is that I had done one year cours of statistics too, anyway, I really want to learn.

By the way, is there anybody work for any mcgill medical reseach group, what kind software are they use?

can spss also be used at medical reseach field?
