Below is message left by a warm-hearted tenant.

I'm xxxx.....I live in this building since 1997 and fight rent
increase every year at regie Du logement....My rent is lowest for 4.5
as result

What I noticed (speaking about tenants from China) building
management unlawfully charging new immigrants (specifically from
China) rent (6 month and up) in order for them to secure lease for
premises in your building. This practice violates not only Civil Code
of Quebec (Article 1904), but in gross violation of Canada & Quebec
Charter of Human Rights.

Two years ago we brought this case before Judge and Mr. Roy was very
embarrased and was obliged to return all payment back + %, and people
had time lived, free.......
