请问买了新房但租房没到期可以退给房东吗

原因是是租房时LEASE的规则上写着不能短租给他人：Not to sublet the premises or otherwise assign this lease without the written authorization of the landlord。
那我既不能短租他人，是不是可以还给房东呢？让房东选择一个吗？:rolleyes:

应该是不可以还给房东的，但是在房东书面许可的情况下可以转lease给其他人。

应该可以的。我问过REGIE DU LOGEMENT. 只要双方签个书面TERMINATION协议同意终止LEASE就行。
