I think it is covered by the medical card for the youger kid once a year. I don't know the maximum age. But my son is 5 years old. It was free when he did it last month. The insurance from the university is covered the dental treatments. But you need to buy family insurance, not only for the student.

I remembered we paid last year for his teeth washing. But I did it for every half year. Since his teeth were fixed several times in last year, it was more than one year after his teeth were washed. This time the nurse told me it is free for once a year. It should be paid for every half year.
