7 R6 ~; b% y& k6 ], q0 S4 p - RDBMS-related Certification an asset;
0 p5 j7 g( ^) C8 }) l+ @! R - Previous experience with MS SQL Server;

- Experience in finance, accounting, ecommerce, or payments considered an asset.
1 F' a4 O* ~7 v H3 c2 g - Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.

" N' h* V4 {" j9 L- EDatabase developer is responsible for building and maintaining all data systemsacross the organization, support new system data export, clean and import withthe whole project implementation life circle. 5 P+ k) I& @$ }! W* g% H9 [
Your tasks

# {# V4 H1 [: \ - Help develop and maintain data models, data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data element naming standards, and metadata standards for the business using Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle RDBMS;
* F# [0 `3 a: M+ Q. U. p - Development and maintenance of GP Database process, packages, stored procedures, and functions to capture, load, and maintain databases on multiple environments.1 t4 u: K& `8 s( Z! h% e( r) \
- Perform extensive analysis of database entities, relationships and attributes;# V6 l8 S! m% {. N B& d0 }; @& ~
- Data analysis, produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs.' j: C3 I$ x K. Q2 A5 l
- Diagnose and resolve any data and performance issues, ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.; P4 M' h3 B9 @2 J
- Providing a high-level of data quality awareness across the organization.5 A9 t- H( ?: Q6 [+ `( K* v
- Proactively working on identifying and improving data quality.
. J; P/ _: i$ J9 b2 I; D - Creation and maintenance of technical documentation specifically, data dictionaries, user-manuals. t* Y* x* n1 F0 u
- Diagnose and correct database process failure conditions, escalating problems as appropriate;
, e8 s4 l) x( Q% l - Perform regular database administration tasks, such as modification of the database structure, controlling user access, connectivity, maintenance of existing solutions, running jobs;
( Y$ n7 k( P" N0 x - Apply data modeling, data design and implementation to support business requirements and drive the organization forward;
" A3 ^, R: C6 H - Maintain professional and technical knowledge required for role and keeps current on emerging database trends and technologies;4 J/ O5 }/ u2 z, O8 H1 n, y9 b
- Work with other members of the Technology team to contribute to the implementation of new data systems;& c, X* M( v' x6 V" }& o" M+ U+ j2 Q
- Support the development life cycle from requirements to deployment;
0 Z( x* S9 V0 G9 A - Work closely with management throughout development lifecycle;
