The position is responsiblefor daily operational IT tasks required to maintain a mid-size network ofusers, servers and services.
Responsibilities:
2 D) f# N% w1 O2 r$ P8 M - Be the first point of contact for technical assistance over the phone or email
4 O6 h" S* V0 E2 Q* [) k( K - Daily operational tasks for internet facing infrastructure (HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, FTP, Exchange)0 f* i5 r, D5 ?6 Z8 `
- Daily operational tasks for adding and removing DNS records, Shares, SSL certificates, Firewall rules, Domain users and groups (Microsoft Active Directory). j* R% B0 b" V7 L
- Manage devices including PCs, user services, Windows and Linux servers for a production telecom network
4 J& L& w& u6 Y8 Y, Q& O - Adding monitoring of servers and processes using the monitoring system
$ H8 \; x/ ]% z# W1 b# C7 t7 X - Managing operational processes related to Microsoft 365 admin center - Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
) H9 i. _. A; j) Y5 v - Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support
$ h. }8 X4 l: L- ?+ k - Following best security practices, firewall and Anti-virus (BitDefender)
1 n; u$ I+ L3 r! Q - VPN user addition & troubleshoot issues+ ^( V- `0 G: F9 d
- Troubleshooting server/workstation/network issues9 R6 h6 e( }1 ?. t" Z s2 H6 w2 ?
- Ticket review and escalation to other departments or third parties for support
: x, ]& ?6 W& A2 H" X8 h: D; D* B, y - Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
3 G) k0 N& v/ j j, x - Manage/Renew SSL certificates, Servers warranty, MS365 Reports, load balancers
! |6 x( f7 T& B. S! g; X6 c; d - Manage Local virtualization platforms (ESXi/XenCenter/Proxmox) and Online virtualization platform (Azure/ AWS) familiar with management UI and related tools (Cloud PowerShell)1 c! A, y9 d' _- C4 d) Z; @+ L! ?3 E
- Inventory management and documentation$ i) X' s* m+ z" ^2 F. p
Qualifications:
6 S( q) f& O, [6 K, }$ X: S& Q
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment; {' s g0 z& u# V% I5 q+ A- t0 \
- Strong Troubleshooting skills with a strong passion for learning new skills and technologies
" H. B7 v- E7 g" D Z+ W1 d - Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS, Debian, RHEL)6 Q: \9 i! E( |$ v* Y- i: O0 w5 R
- Advanced knowledge of services such as DNS, HTTPS, SMTP and FTP
% {2 C$ S$ T, a# a9 E3 Z! u1 H - Advanced knowledge of firewalls, VPN and VLAN and subnetting.8 ]/ q8 }' k4 D3 _! n
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
) E K! [' Q( o, n - Knowledge of MS365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Dynamics365
2 ]0 Q/ r6 H ~1 k4 Q - Knowledge of SAN/NAS (Dell EMC Powerstore/Compellent, QNAP)
# Q5 E' j/ a8 ?6 C( A1 X - Advanced knowledge of Xen & VMWare virtual clustering environment an asset./ e# S+ X# D- X5 U9 z% V/ F( B8 O
- Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies3 T" g6 w ^* _- E! C! {0 [
- Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell)4 L/ \0 b# k, E6 ?. o7 ]
- Experience with Zabbix monitoring systems or similar
' g3 t* e: }' L - Good experience with Microsoft Active directory
) J2 K2 X- z5 L& I, I! I2 G - Experience with Docker, OpenVPN is considered an asset! b$ L; R) _8 Z, G8 M. u8 Q
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written. # }2 c8 H6 b& @$ d+ ^1 U
- Excellent skills at writing documentation and diagrams9 [, N4 L) s7 \( {/ S7 ^4 k6 n t" u
- Good English written and spoken a must.
