那我再loblaws买的chopper,将来出问题了,好办不?不行我退了去walmart买 . . .
还是懒得折腾了。我已经用我的chopper做了好几次馅了,还能用。等买了mixer就可以做蛋糕玩乐^o^
1. If it is the house bland from Loblaw, i.e. the cheapest and all white appliances, u can exchange or refund in 1 month. If it break in 1 year, just bring it back to any Loblaws in Canada, they will repair or give u a new one. Any question, call their customer service. Do remember to keep the bill for 1 year(gaurentee period).
2. What cake are u using the hand mixer for? Unless u get a more expensive model with the egg "wisk" to whip egg/cream till fluffy, I don't see the relevancy to most cake.
I have used may be 95% of kitchen appliances over the last 30 years, if I were only to use 1 appliance, it would be a good quality hand blender/chopper. Mind u, only 10% of my cooking is Chinese. I use the blender to make custard/pudding, mashed potato, mostly to "mush" up the sauce/juice of my cooking when I think they look ugly. The chopper (used less) for chopping liver/egg for salad, small amount of onion/veg., hummus. Just remember that I like my homemake mayonnaise, hand blender should do. If u have dish washer, remember to check for dish washer safe.
In case u want to try:
1. Mayonnaise - 1 egg yolk, little mustard, lemon juice, oil (lots of this). Somehow I think the cleaningness of the utensil for this is very important, else u may fail.
2. Hommus - Lemon juice, garlic, Tahini (middle eastern sesame sauce, just use whatever sesame/sesame sauce from your cupboard), chick pea from can. Delicious and nutritional as bread spread.
Sorry, all my cookbooks are in boxes. Enjoy your new gadget!! |
