用医疗卡购药必须有处方,而且必须有保险公司为你保险.当然低收入家庭可以得到政府的保险(听说是绝大部分).没有收入的或难民可以是费用全免.但是大多数药要求处方,医生一般不会给你随意开的.

Medical care card doesn't cover your medicine, if you have some insurance that covers the medicine expense and you can convince the doctor to give you the prescription, you will make it.

1, first of all, no doctor will give you the prescription;

2, government offers the medical insurance including prescription drug insurance, if you have another group insurance, you should notice the government to cancel the drug insurance but you keep the medical exam insurance.

3, if you are coverd by the medical insurance, that does not means free. every month, you have to pay the first 13$(around) for your first prescription, and then 28%(around) of the drug price, until 65$ totally(then you get drugs in this month without payment).

4, if you buy some medication out-off-counter, you pay,  you do not need the prescription. either the medical card.


to make sure, do not require anybody else but the officer from government, or you can get the information from any pharmcie.
