Some people choose to take Canadian exam, some USMLE (US Medical Licencing Exam).

I did the latter and just got in this year. Because I know in the US here offers more chances, and more Chinese medical graduate friendly. But in the last year or two, situation in Canada improves a little. However, either one requires you to make a commitment for a couple of years. And competition is ever increasing. If you are newly graduate, you have better chances in either countries. While there is will, there is way.

Is there any difference between "Canadian exam" and USMLE? Have you passed step 3? How do you think the exam is difficult or easy? or which step is the most difficult?

先谢谢前面的高手了，我已经毕业有10年了，临床干了4年就去了法国待了6年，现在想起要考医师了，但是英语是忘得差不多了，好在医用的单词英法语差不多少。我现在在看tonroto note，好辛苦！ 佩服楼上的高手的毅力，有没有什么心得讲一讲，还有了，有没有也在准备考试的朋友，大家一起复习好不好，这样可以交流交流，进步也快一些，一起努力了！

加拿大的医师考试你可以查询他们的网站，mcc （medical college of canada, 可能是这样，因我记忆中是法语） 然后是找寻 mccee. 美国的考试我就不清楚了，

参加这里的医生资格考试这条路太艰难，需要付出的努力不是一点半点。我资料收集了一大堆，每次想鼓足勇气开始看，都半途而废了。
    相信如果是国内医生移民这里，应该在国内主治都已经升好了，说不定有人副高也升了。大概都和我差不多，年龄已经不小了，30多奔4的人了，有老婆孩子，生活压力可想而知。年纪一大，记忆力就不行，再说英语法语不是我们的母语，对我来说学习难度超大。
    另一条路就是在college找一个跟自己医学相关的专业：呼吸机治疗与麻醉，牙医助理，核医学，放射诊断，放射肿瘤，护士等等，2到3年学习，毕业后就业没问题。唯一的问题是毕业后是在临床科室做技术员，不是医生。国内是医生，来这里后做技术员，这样的落差也许不是每个人都能接受的。我个人是选择的在college 读书，对我来说，能回到自己的专业我已经很满足了，虽然只是做一个技术员。
    再有就是回大学读硕，读博，不过做惯了临床的人要他天天在实验室摇试管，我个人不是很愿意。我还是喜欢能和病人打交道。
    最后要说的是考医生资格是一条正道，只是荆棘密布，只有有恒心有毅力的强人才能成功。衷心祝愿准备考试的同道们顺利通过。
