Mail the application at the beginning of april.....no file # whatsoever so far...
My friend who mailed his application in Feb received his file # in 3 weeks.....

我是用邮寄的，从网上查询，他们是4月11日收到的。都一个月了，一点回音也没有。我是不是应该问问.

我朋友二三月份递的，也就二三周就收到档案号了。

我的application也是11号寄到的。。。
不知道是不是因为前段时间查出来中国人作假的原因，现在查的比较严

status shown on CIC's website as "in process", but haven't received the actual letter containing the file # yet (expect within a few days). I checked the status using my CIC client ID (xxxx-xxxx on study permit).

It said that they started process on May 5th (according to canada post, bufflo received my application on April 11th).

看来我没你幸运，我到https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do, 用我的work permit client ID 查询，没有记录。
等待中...

It's on your work permit. Look for "Client ID". It's in the form xxxx-xxxx
