思考了许久，决定上这个专业。但是对于这个学校的这个专业一点都不了解，不知道就业形式如何？

I personally recommend you to think it over and over again, I used to be in there, and graduated by the end of 2004, when you get out of that fucking stupid school to look for a job, nobody even ask you where you have been studying, that literally means you spend one year and around CAD$6000 for nothing, absolutely nothing. And never never expect a good job after that if you don't have much experience, if you do have experience, definitely you know how much you can possibly make in this business, am i right?

我在入学之前又何曾不是这么想的呢？ 但又如何？

如果一个2分钟可以搞定的简单谎言可以换取1年的时间和6000块学费以及这一年的生活开销的话， 你肯撒这个谎嘛？

况且你觉得从这里毕业工资会有多少?

如果真是有心人的话，早上上班的时间去Cote-des-Liesse路边，Tim Horton旁边的那个OEC building门口， 你会碰到一些中国朋友，问问他们物流公司的情况再做决定岂不是更好?

都什么年代了，还抱着这种试试看的想法？有多少年可以去浪费？

个人感觉SUPPLY CHAIN 比LOGISTICS更难找工作, 如过你的语言不很PERFECT. 因为SUPPLY CHAIN 要求对外跟VENDOR, CUSTOMER联系, 对内跟OPERATION, SALES, MARKETING, ACCOUNTING联系. 控制库存, 了解需求,PUSH VENDOR. 好象小公司也不需要SUPPLY CHAIN, 只要采购就ENOUGH了.

我是门外汉,英语专业的,学过做过国际贸易,句字面看,Supply Chain operation management是管理物流操作的部门,logistics广义一些,是物流的总称,可以是专业公司,不知道在加拿大的情况或者说前景如何?

logisics is part of supply chain. supply chain inlcudes logistics, information and money flow. so it is more complicated. logistics more concentrate on operation, like international trading, traffic, warehouse and customs. while supply chain is to catch market needs, detailing to quantity of each model(sales and marketing), control inventory (accounting and operation dept.), pull and push shipments with vendor, proficient in ERP system.

more communication and more pressure to ensure right goods coming at the right time through the efficient way with right quanity and quality. that's it.

as i know, here even assistant position can get more than 40k a year. so good luck!

GOt a basic idea of logistics and supply chain. I used to work for Toyota, I have experience for Just-in-time delivery, I hope this is also a major point in logistics.
