同意. 4000元以下好像很难买到日本车. 前两日,有一朋友买了一辆日本车,情况如下:
1994 CIVIC EX
Mileage: 150，000km
full equippen
$8,100 （税后）

因为不太懂，买时没有了解电池，轮胎，机油，刹车，排气管等等，结果后来又 花了600多元修理以上部分。总体说来，这车好像有点贵了。

希望有经验的朋友能介绍一下哪有旧车信息（个人出售的，dealer的好像 有点贵，也不放心）， 以及买车程序。

这个栏目很好，对要买车的朋友很有帮助，希望能发展起来。

your friend got ripped off! The Honda Civic should only cost half of the amount your friend has paid.
Before you buy a used car, you should get the market price from CAA (free service for members and $ 4 for non-members. Then you should get the car inspected at a reliable garage before you conclude the deal. Never go to Canadian Tires for inspection becuase most of them failed APA annual survey (see more info from APA's website). Bring a friend who is a good driver and has many years of driving expereinces to test drive the car as well - to get a feel of the car.

There is an excellent garage that can inspect your car in Lachine tel: 634-5353 Garage Phil Bailey (he used to be a radio car call-in host at CJAD). If he can repair the parts, he will never ask you to replace it with a new one unless a new part costs less than repairing.

各位的经验太珍贵了， 只可惜我的朋友在买车前没有得到， 现在我也不敢告诉他，免得他后悔。希望后人能接受教训。

前面朋友提到的CAA在那里能买到？
关于旧车市场， 我刚刚得知两个网站：

希望对朋友们有所帮助（不过我发现里面的报价好像远远高于前面买Corolla的两个朋友的价格， 不知何故）。 另外，还希望大家能推荐几个好的dealer 和 inspection garage.
