请教，我妈回中国机票定了签证有效期的后一天离开，出境的时候会不会被查到的啊？

她今天开心过头，竟然忘记有效期一说，买了半年期的机票，才发现超过规定的180天有效期了。

晕倒。

The Visa Expiration date has nothing to do with how long you can stay in Canada.

When your Mom arrives Vancouver Customs, Immigrant officer will stamp a date on her Visa as her arriving date. Most of the time, the officer will not specify a returning date. In this case, the visitor can stay in Canada for 6 months maximum by law.

So usually, your Mom's stay in Canda should be calculated as from the date she arrives Vancouver until 6 monthes.

我妈咪买了4月22号来加拿大的机票，结果她竟然也买了10月22号回去的机票。回来跟我一说，才发现比6个月签证有效期多过一天……

Just a reminder, again this is not about Visa expiration date. It is legally stay period in Canada. Don't mix up two different things.

谢SUMMERLOVER，我今天上CIC看了，"Most visitors are allowed to stay in Canada for no more than six months but, in some cases, visitors can stay longer. The date that you must leave Canada will be stamped in your passport."

我就希望到时候官员看了我妈的回程机票日期手下留情啊！

这事害的我妈昨天睡不好，吃不香的，急气冲冲跑去订票点要改日期了，手续费加币50元。我觉得一天的过期，影响应该不是很大吧？

其实最主要的问题就在于我妈买机票前，根本没跟我说她想买哪天来，哪天走。我随便说了个4月22号的日期，她就跑去买了，回国日子也没说好，听旅行社的人乱来的。

真是的，好烦啊！:frown:

朋友的父母超了一年，不但走的时候没事，第二次签证也没受影响。这次走还是超了近半年。
