我88年毕业,电气工程师,一家3口拟近期登陆加国。原计划去Tonronto, 遇SARS流行，正在犹豫；多年在国企，也没存下几个银子。朋友建议与Montreal, 说landing相对容易些，我的English还可以（只是自我感觉）， French一点不懂。有些茫然，恳切各位老乡指教。

I have no clue when your friends say that landing in Montreal is easier since I landed in London, Ont. at first place. I didn't find any problem, you just need to apply for SIN card, health card... As to language, friends in Montreal will have more advices as to the importance of English and French used in Montreal. Ontario has been my home since I came. Good luck. :p :p
