We are currently seeking a Buyer (Mandarin speaker) to join our Montreal team. ; l* C1 N6 \& B0 X2 MRESPONSIBILITIES: - T4 e6 o. k' u2 `8 A; J* D
Source and develop new suppliers based on our regular purchasing products and new projects;
Negotiate with suppliers for continuous cost down target;
Coordinate with suppliers for new samples and bidding for new projects;
Follow up with existing suppliers for competitive price negotiation, new order issuing, production and delivery following up;
Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery on time and coordinate with Quality Control team in China to ensure units are shipped with approved quality;
Any other related tasks.# \+ e+ ]2 I" p3 S1 D' c
REQUIREMENTS:$ k/ \' |& W2 N. L H
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Electronics Engineering;
3+ years of professional experience in developing new suppliers, purchasing consumer electronics, or import & export business;
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Detail-oriented and a high sense of responsibility;
Excellent negotiation skills and well organized;
Goal-oriented and able to deal well with tight deadlines;
Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) reading and writing;
Willing to work evenings to communicate with suppliers in China, due to time difference.3 H; Z4 x. G3 i! y; U
