You must have T4 slips. After you submitted your personal income tax return
to Revenue Canada & Quebec, you will receive the notice of assessment from
Revenue Canada & Quebec, your RRSP limited amount will be showed in your
notice from Revenue Canada for the year-2007, you can purchase the limited
amount(deadline: Mar.31, 2008).

If you have work, but in cash, not do payroll, it will be no way to purchase RRSP:-(
