I believe that Alex "BGirl Shorty" Welch of "beat freaks" does break dance too and she is a GIRL.

Alex "BGirl Shorty" Welch of "beat freaks" is white and she dances very well. I don't think that one's race and ethnic origin determines if one can dance certain dance style well.

I don't see any hint or suggestion from cynthia1005's posts
that the crew is against Chinese.

My understanding is that since not many Chinse dance hip hop,
so much fewer have strong enough skill level to enter the hiphop crew.

How do you get your impression?

BTW, Beat Freaks is an excellent all-girls crew.

Does it make sense to you?

Hip hop is a culture with several elements,
one of which is dancing.
The culture has spread all over the globe,
so it is not just among the blacks in New York city, nor just in USA anymore.

There are regular top international hip hop dance competitions.
Often the winners are not necessarily black.

Another point is that
the dancing itself also evolves continuously over the years.
The style today is quite different from the 70s old school.

The same with the people who participate in the dancing.
In the 70s, the vast majority was blacks.
Nowadays most young people of all races do hip hop dancing, since they all grow up with the same music and have the same exposure to hip hop dancing on the streets, on TV and on internet.
