In normal case, if anyone said he/she gets parent's VISA to USA IN MONTREAL recently, he/she is either a very lucky person (go go buy 649) or a cheater (but losing money to USA does no good for himself/herself, why do so?).

I mean in normal case. If the old man has a son or daughter in USA, or other relationships, that's another story.

4) I know there are the successful cases in Ottwa. I think it's better to go to Ontario.

Hi Money! 200 USD (+15 CAD for reservation ) goes to USA for nothing!  If you say you learned a lession but this lesson has been learned by many people!

Please go to Ottwa, Toronto, even Quebec City for your parents' VISA! Please!

I accompanied my parents for the us visa application today, and they got refused. We were told that for the first time,we should apply for us visa from China. That's it. Guess I really should apply for it from other cities. It took us so long time to get one available appointment in Montreal. Grrr....

No. My parents-in-law applied at Montreal. So I know in Montreal, it is almost impossible.
Before applying, I asked a lot of friends (including organization), all gave me negative responses. But at that moment, what I thought was similar to what LZ thinks (签到与否机会均等, 全凭造化. 有人顺利拿到, 有人被锯其实无道理可言. 就去赌一把运气.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->...) . More, my father-in-law insisted on applying.

/ J) h: u9 E1 F( l0 I8 jBut I know (100% sure), somebody got VISA at Ottawa. Also from this Thread, I know (I guess it should be true) somebody got VISA at Quebec City, Toronto.

So, in short, I think it's better to apply USA VISA for your parents at other cities. I recommend Ottawa. In Ottawa, you may have chance but in Montreal, you don't have chance, in normal case.
