Don't expect too much and we'll all be happier! They serve FU-CHI-FAI-PEN (husband/wife/lung/slices ) during the holiday as extra! They only have orange cake desert, ask for red bean soup when make reservation.

1. knows a church where we can "borrow" their "basement" for gathering? or
2. have info. on a place that we can rent? (1 old posting before x'mas for rent, too lazy to search), or
3. the Chinese community centre in China town?

I don't know any church but can ask the church ~2-4 blocks east of Mont Royal Metro next weekend. 什么时候聚-> how about early Feb., weekdays? <-> easier to get booking@church/discount@resturant?!:confused:

FYI: For BIG gathering in future, besides churches, can think about CEDI. Besides 5/600 sq. ft meeting rooms in China Town, they have a 1500-2000 sq. ft. meeting room on 3429 Notre Dame W.(Lionel Groulx metro) for pot luck party. They have small TV/DVD/sound system there. We can bring our own projector for movie night for up to 100 people. Facilities can be "lent" to members for free, but "problem" is most "attendee" needs to be members. Membership for immigrants 3 years or less is free. (I am not associated with CEDI)
