它是分成3个类别来排列的，康大属于第2类的最后一名。当然如果混在一起排，第3类中所有大学（比如bishop之流）都不如康大。

另一方面，如果你的T成绩在500-550之间，相信只有康大愿意录取你读CS Master。

不算烂

Mcleans也不见得是排名榜的圣经。评价学校素质不要道听途说，要有亲身体会才可开口，省得误人子弟。

MCGILL的名气无疑比康大大，人家的响当当的发家史明摆在那里，过去的历史是没办法改变的。但是不代表麦记的学生都比康记的强，上中下三等马的道理田忌明白，齐王也明白，大家明白吗？

在下诚意向大家推荐康记的商学院（即JMSB).
2001年的CGA考试，康大有三名学生打入全加拿大十大，其中一名QUEBEC第一加拿大第三，一名QUEBEC第三加拿大第六。

每年的CA考试，康大均有70-80多的考取率，远高于QUEBEC和加拿大整体水平。

2001年的CFA，绝大部分投考者均高分通过各级资格考试。

JMSB连续被美国“华尔街杂志”（Wall Street Journal)和“商业周刊”（Business Week)评为世界百大商业学校。（注：百大当然没有十大那么牛，但请注意，中国北大清华的商业学校在未能排在合资格考虑的250间之内）

JMSB的MBA今年GMAT入学平均分略增5分至650，其中多名中国学生超过700。

小插曲：JMSB在最近一次ECONOMIST举办的商学院比赛战胜最近在WSJ世界排名第一的美国西北大学Kelloggs,McGill则战胜了排名第三的哈佛。但JMSB下一轮输给了McGill.

National Post昨天选出“Canada's CEO of the Year",得主是Manulife的Dominic D'Alessandro,他毕业于Loyola(即康大合并前两间学院之一）并在康大考取CA资格。

National Post昨天也选出全年最高薪的CEO,得主是Power Corp.的Andre Desmarais,他是毕业于康大的BComm。

另，National Post昨天选出WORST CEO of the Year, 得主是来自Nortel的Frank Dunn,他毕业于...u-oh...McGill。

上述例子纯粹抄录数据以供参考，并非要证明孰瑜孰亮。同时，请谨记，无论康记、麦记还是u OF t，都不是哈佛。什么加拿大哈佛，你认人家不认。无需强求，更无需失望。

TOEFL高分不代表什么，6K兄弟。我在麦记认识的人中有几个中国人考满分或超高分，但是半聋半哑，跟本地人和老师沟通起来，三方（双方再加旁观者）别提多难受！

问问本地人就知道其质量啦。不是康大的学生难找工作，问问McGill的学生就业情况吧。真实情况是：中国人难找工作，无论姓麦姓康。

康大刚投资过亿元（加币）在Guy与Ste-Catherine盖新的教学大楼，烂学校有这样的财政支持吗。不烂不烂，离worst更是十万八千里。

不要看懂一两篇英文文章就捕风捉影枉加评论。没亲眼见“曾参杀人”就不要乱喊，不然吓死人。

Wang8, it was unadvisable of you to post that message. You should not have insulted the majority here. Most of chinese students here are studying in Concordia. They, of course, can not tolerate such rank. They naturally suppose either you are a loser for concordia or a student in McGill. If you are the former, it is no surprise that you hate Concordia. If you are the latter, it is easily suspected that you wanna magnify yourself by preaching down concordian.

As to the rank, in my opinion, it has reasonable aspects, for Macleans, as a well-known magazine, would not have simply drawn a rank before investigating carefully. Of course, it is a general rank. Academic quality is just only one of the considered factors. Why concordia was ranked to end of the line? Let's probe the answer. Concordia is unfortunately located in Quebec, a french-speaking province. As one of few english-teaching universities in Quebec, it
is fated that concordia get funds from government much less than that other French-teaching universities do. Money, however, is vital for the development of a unversity. Money therefore becomes the prior consideration of concordia. To recruit more students and force them to take their english courses are the ways to get money. That is why they don't need Toefl and Gre for admission and why they prefer international students and the students from other provinces. It inevitably cause its academic quality down.

Anyway, thanks to concordia, many of us who have past the best age of study can have the chance to continue education. Thanks to concordia, many of us can get loan and bursary. Thanks to concordia, there are more space for us to study. The people who get the admission to the university are lucky, since the competition for the admission between new immigrants is getting worse. So just forget the rank.
