don't take it personal, ok? but if you want to compare yourself with me, statistically, i earn more than the 99% of ohter canadian and i graduated from concordia.
personally, i think Lada is the worst car ever been sold in canada. if you are new immigrant, you might not that familiar with this brand since it went out of the market 10 years or so ago and people are completely unsatisfied with it. it ranked many many times by auto magazine as the worst car in any classes. you tell me what kind of stupid people buy this car? stupid? not for sure. we shall call them financially challenged people, to be more percise.
i don't take macleans seriously, because it ranked laval, which is one of the largest and best franqephone university in the world. (not only chretien, many other politicians graduated from laval as well, its law department is world class) really low. that s*ucks. but, if you really don't think concordia deserved to be called the worst, you don't see enough universities in canada.

一年过去了，2002年maclean依然把concordia排在倒数第一。
但这又有什么关系呢？毕竟它的英语要求低！很多人toefl考来考去都考不过237，没有一所大学愿意录取他们为CS Master。最后只有求康大。
老实说，我们在国内养尊处优，哪能去打labour，就找个Master混日子呗！

你可以去macleans的网站去看今年的排名。
它是分成3个类别来排列的，康大属于第2类的最后一名。当然如果混在一起排，第3类中所有大学（比如bishop之流）都不如康大。

另一方面，如果你的T成绩在500-550之间，相信只有康大愿意录取你读CS Master。

不算烂

Mcleans也不见得是排名榜的圣经。评价学校素质不要道听途说，要有亲身体会才可开口，省得误人子弟。

MCGILL的名气无疑比康大大，人家的响当当的发家史明摆在那里，过去的历史是没办法改变的。但是不代表麦记的学生都比康记的强，上中下三等马的道理田忌明白，齐王也明白，大家明白吗？

在下诚意向大家推荐康记的商学院（即JMSB).
2001年的CGA考试，康大有三名学生打入全加拿大十大，其中一名QUEBEC第一加拿大第三，一名QUEBEC第三加拿大第六。

每年的CA考试，康大均有70-80多的考取率，远高于QUEBEC和加拿大整体水平。

2001年的CFA，绝大部分投考者均高分通过各级资格考试。

JMSB连续被美国“华尔街杂志”（Wall Street Journal)和“商业周刊”（Business Week)评为世界百大商业学校。（注：百大当然没有十大那么牛，但请注意，中国北大清华的商业学校在未能排在合资格考虑的250间之内）

JMSB的MBA今年GMAT入学平均分略增5分至650，其中多名中国学生超过700。

小插曲：JMSB在最近一次ECONOMIST举办的商学院比赛战胜最近在WSJ世界排名第一的美国西北大学Kelloggs,McGill则战胜了排名第三的哈佛。但JMSB下一轮输给了McGill.

National Post昨天选出“Canada's CEO of the Year",得主是Manulife的Dominic D'Alessandro,他毕业于Loyola(即康大合并前两间学院之一）并在康大考取CA资格。

National Post昨天也选出全年最高薪的CEO,得主是Power Corp.的Andre Desmarais,他是毕业于康大的BComm。

另，National Post昨天选出WORST CEO of the Year, 得主是来自Nortel的Frank Dunn,他毕业于...u-oh...McGill。

TOEFL高分不代表什么，6K兄弟。我在麦记认识的人中有几个中国人考满分或超高分，但是半聋半哑，跟本地人和老师沟通起来，三方（双方再加旁观者）别提多难受！
