希望是真正的CAKE店或者是CAFE,餐馆的饭后甜点不算,希望能有多个选择,个人口味不同,能多试几家,谢了!

sherbrooke上向东走，过了guy和cote-de-neidge那个十字路口一点，右手边有一家的蛋糕很不错。好像店名字叫petit maison，好像是这样拼的吧，法语的。那里一排连着的小店，你走过去就能看见。
st-catherine上向西走，在atwater那里，过去shopping mall一点，路左手边有个店，名字就是英文的卡路里，蛋糕也很好吃滴！
都是专门的吃蛋糕喝东西的地方。你可以去试试，不过价格么，嘿嘿，不是很便宜。:rolleyes:

Cheese cakes range from light+creamy to heavy like rock. Which type do u prefer?

In Montreal, one and only famous Cheese Cake place is Dunns, the heavy like rock type, 1 piece=1 dinner for me. 1249 Metcalfe, right below St. Catherine, phone:395-1927.  Also in Centreal Market, check www.dunnsfamous.com.

The best for light ones used to be ~William-tels, don't think it exists anymore.

VENUS

Believe their Cheese Cakes tastes similar, i.e. Rubens vs. Dunns. Never tried Rubens', have Dunns' only.

Ya, Dunns cheescake is quite something, I still remember the 1st time it is served to me on the table, huge, and good. Butr not excellent, I still haven't find an excellent so far  

Gascogne's cheesecake is so so, but their cakes in average is high quality and very French style, very rich, tho quite expensive; a cake for 6 range from 15 - 25.
Do not try their charlotte, the fruits are sour, and covers the taste of the cake.

Premiere Moison is cheaper than Gascogne, but the look is not as good as Gascogne.  recently tried a choco cake, looks like a "herisson" with tons of pike, it is excellent, and gluten free, my sister in law cannot take gluten, so perfect cake for everyone with allergies.

Tried also "Mt.Blanc" at Calories recently, very good too.

Kilo is another choice if you like cake, on St-Laurent, corner Fairmount I think.

Actually, you can try to do cheescake yourself, it is quite easy,go to Kraft web site, look for Philadelphia cream cheese  and check out the recipe.

Does Anyone like it at Rubens? they are famous for Smoke meat and Cheese Cakes. You can sit down and order a cheese cake without the main course. you can also buy a whole cake from them. There are 2 Rubens on St. Catherine. One is on the coner of Mcgill College facing Indigo book store.

I can second that~ I like their cheese cakes. and btw their chicken wings are as good as their smoke meat but now only the one mcgill college corner has chix wings~~
