It is usually necessary to pay for ambulance services, unless you have private insurance covering these costs. You will be billed in the days following use of the service. Ambulance service is generally free, however, for victims of road or workplace accidents, hospitalized persons who must change health-care facility, employment assistance recipients and persons aged 65 and over.

救护车从你呼救的现场去你要求的医院（如果你没有PREFER的医院，他们一般会推荐医院给你，不过前提是你自己本人希望他们送你去医院）之间的费用，一般按距离算费用。

从他们接到你的电话到你呼救现场是没有费用的，如果到了你现场，最后你决定不去医院了，也不会有任何费用（即使他们到现场后可能为你提供了抢救等措施或服务）

基本上就是把你运到医院收个费用。
